Ethan and Ehlana:
The top news for today is that Naomi and the Haunted Harmonies has been invited to play at the school dance and haunted walk! Naomi has already accepted both for us; and our practice tonight was all about getting ready for both. We also had another awesome weather day, and while it began with lows around thirty-seven; we topped eighty for the high; and that had everything to do with why we picked biking and playing with our friends over going to the lab after school. We also had extra outdoor time at school this afternoon; so it was a pretty good day!
Gossip around school included the usual post-festival teen drama stories; and we should also mention the football talk; since our team didn’t win Friday’s home game; and we didn’t pay any attention to that at the time while busy with the band, competition, and teen dance. There was some tween drama among our own friends this weekend, and while I’d skip that news; Ehlana definitely wants me to report that Miles and Joshua got into trouble with Caroline and Jennifer; there was some unwarranted jealousy related to Jayden at the heart of why the guys were being jerks; and their current fight will continue for an unknown length of time – though not the forever that the girls are promising.
That fight, by the way, made our after-school play time quieter; since some of our friends are in those two camps and avoiding the other group; so our play time was fairly-quiet. For the record, we try to avoid taking sides; since we prefer to hang out together – and then have our friends join our group.
Moving along, we had a group Magi lesson with Mom after the band practice; took Silkie along for the walk home with Naomi and Aiden; and wrapped up our Monday with more work in the office. Now it’s past-time to get some sleep; so that’s all for this report!
