Ethan and Ehlana:
Happy 9th Birthday, Zack!
Our cousin’s special day is our top news story – or stories. While we started the day with Tai Chi by the river and breakfast with Mom and Dad; Zack got his birthday fun started at home with gifts and his kind of games that already had Brianna annoyed before we met up with them for the walk to school. Brianna had a sleepover booked with Faith before we got to school – in anticipation that she wasn’t going to want to be home for Zack’s party sleepover with his buddies. We helped out with Zack’s fun with an early gift; some bonus treats at lunchtime; and then with our recruitment for work and kid-control at his party that started shortly-after we were set free from school.
Zack wanted to go biking on the trails after school, so Naomi and Aiden were with us to go on that little adventure. We managed to get Zack, Eli, and the rest of their gang back home uninjured and with time for some video gaming ahead of the Pizzeria pizza and sides dinner. I am not going to comment on the food fun, since Zack’s idea of ‘fun’ is not the same as ours by pretty much any measure. Ehlana and Naomi helped Brianna, Faith, and the other girls to stay away from those games, but extra cleaning was required; and over-eating affected the rest of the night for two of Zack’s friends.
The party is still going on now as we’re writing this, but we only stayed until nine o’clock. Naomi and Aiden came home with us for a late band practice and short group Magi lesson. We needed that wind-down from the party, and had fun with both the ‘magic’ and music. Silkie went along with us for the walk home with Naomi and Aiden; and now we’re doing our bedtime twin chat and computing because Mom didn’t want us to do any work in the office tonight. This has been another really happy day for us – even with the weird that went along with Zack’s party; so we’re going to stay positive and not get into any bad news from around the world tonight. We are overdue for at least a small update for that, but since the top news stories around the world are generally-bad; we really don’t want to go there tonight – or most days. Don’t take that the wrong way, since we do keep well-informed. There just isn’t any point in obsessing over events that we can’t control. Most people would likely consider us naive to believe that building a life filled with happiness and love can’t make a difference in the world, but we know that we’ll do exactly that; since that’s exactly what will happen with the Ascension of the Light.
Maybe you’ll know whether we are right or not by the time you read this in our future, but we’re obviously not there yet, so we’ll stick with our happy thoughts; call it a night; and get some sleep.
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
