Ehlana and Ethan:
It was nice to have Dad home again for Tai
Chi this morning; he cooked breakfast for us; and then we did chores all
morning. That wasn’t as boring as it
might sound to most kids and teens; since Mom and Dad let us use our Magi
talents for a lot of that work; so we had fun and got a lot of work done
too! We had a quiet lunch; were set free
to play for the afternoon; and met up with Naomi and Aiden for a few hours of
biking the trails, park play time, and fun with other friends and kids that
were enjoying another nice-weather day – at least for this time of year.
We don’t want to jinx things by writing
much about the weather, but it is interesting that we’ve been getting some of
the nicest weather on the weekends and colder or bad-weather days during the
school week. Everyone is enjoying the
above-average warm we’ve had for a lot of the winter so far, though, so let’s
hope it continues through to spring!
While Naomi and Aiden could play with us
for a while this afternoon, they had plans with their families again tonight;
and we’ve had a quiet evening at home with Mom and Dad. Dinner was another easy-meal; we watched a
movie after that; and then there was some music play time that included a
lesson from Dad and then some ‘jamming’ that kept us entertained until bath or
Jacuzzi time. We split up for that; met
up again for our bedtime twin chat and this dual-update; and now we’re ready to
wrap it up and get some sleep so we’ll be ready for church, Sunday school, and
an even-nicer-weather play afternoon. We’ll
let you know how all of that goes for us with the next report, but that’s all
for now; so we’re out of here.
