Happy Valentine’s Day!
Ehlana:
I’ll cover this update; and there isn’t all
that much news so far because the fun is really about to get started for us now
that we’re home from school.
Our day started with hugs, kisses, and
gifts that we shared with Mom and Dad before Tai Chi; our special breakfast
included a vid-chat with Cassie and Michael; and then there were more hugs,
kisses, and gifts with Naomi and Aiden before school that all helped to get our
day off to an amazing start! We played
at school all day, and that included games, movies, music, and a party this
afternoon with lots of treats and the usual exchange of Valentines and other
little gifts. Naomi was with her class
for most of that, so Ethan didn’t get to have as much fun as I did with Aiden
in our class, but it has been a really good day.
While we were at school, our weekend guests
were en-route; and got here by lunchtime or early afternoon. The Malloys and Proctors are staying at the
Inn tonight – or at least the parents are; while the kids will be here – along with
our cousins and some friends. Jaimie and
Kaitlyn are going to be our official babysitters tonight while the parents go
out to dinner and then the party at Sheldon’s pub, but while they missed out on
Valentine’s Day fun with their own friends at home; they seem happy to be here
instead; and don’t have any boyfriends being left alone for the day while they’re
here.
This visit, by the way, is a getaway
weekend for the families, but also a work weekend for Uncle Blaine and Terry. They got started on that for a couple of
hours this afternoon after getting here; and will do more tomorrow and maybe on
Sunday too if needed. That’s great for
me, since I can hardly wait for the extra shopping options we’ll have in a
couple of years or so; and the bonus fun with our cousins, Valerie, and Marcus
is going to be great too.
Speaking of that, I need to wrap this up
and move on to the rest of our Valentine’s Day fun that is going to include a
major pizzeria pizza dinner; movies that will hopefully include the new Disney
Zombies premiere; and a lot more fun with our family and friends. Ethan and Naomi won’t get away with a co-ed
sofa sleepover tonight too with so many kids in the house, but we’ll have a
blast even without that kind of wrap-up to our day; so stay tuned to read all
about that with my next report tomorrow night!

here, in fine form, and shouldn’t be left alone for two minutes to get into
trouble with the girls on Valentine’s Day! ;^)
