Ethan:
Dinner and a movie morphed into dinner and
an outdoor play evening – at least for the kids last night. That was all a lot of fun; and so was the
sleepover at our house with Naomi and Aiden.
We ended up doing that because the parents decided that was better than
a sleepover tonight – mostly so that Naomi and Aiden could spend time with
their parents when they actually have some time off to do that with them.
It’s an interesting concept. Maybe it’ll catch on! ;^)
Moving along, we watched a movie after
getting home; Naomi go away with pretending to be asleep while cuddling with me
– for a while; and then we split up for the night when Mom and Dad headed for
bed and ordered us to do the same. We
had a good morning with Tai Chi outdoors; breakfast for six; and then a morning
of chores time for four while Naomi and Aiden helped out at their own homes and
the bakery. That wasn’t the end of our
play time for the day – we were set free for a picnic lunch and park play and
biking afternoon; Naomi and Aiden joined us for that too; and we had some other
friends hang out with us for some of that time; so we’ve had a pretty good
afternoon.
Ehlana and I were on our own by the time we
got home for dinner; and we’ve had a quiet evening at home with Mom and Dad
since then. Bath or Jacuzzi time is
still going on for some of us, but I’m in bed and ready to call it a night; so that’s
all I have for tonight.
Ethan – out!

Ehlana:
Outdoor chores are better when it’s nicer
outside; and we had fun doing them together – in part because we haven’t had to
start in on the really messy spring chores yet.
The play time this afternoon was great – though Mom and Dad didn’t take
the time off too – they worked in the office and around the house. Okay, they had a bit more than four kid-free
hours, and might not have been working all of that time; but let’s not go
there. ;^)
That’s all I have from here, but before I
get back to enjoying my soak in the Jacuzzi and some light reading; I’ll add
that Cassie and Michael have been busy, but are taking the night off with their
friends after a study afternoon; and probably need the break after a week that
started out dramatically; and kept them too-busy through until now. I won’t comment on the Saturday night
roommate swap for our four favorite collegians – other than to again point out
that the precedent will be useful for Ethan and me in about ten years.
Okay, I’m ready to move on – and continue enjoying
my tub time; so that’s all for now.
This is Ehlana Proctor; coming to you live
from what is now my past!
