Ethan:
Happy Earth Day!
Our school day revolved around the Earth
Day themes; we had outdoor play time, work, and lessons; and then Ehlana and I
were back at the lab and archives for a few hours before going home to a late
dinner and evening of work and studying.
Time phasing was involved with the last part of that, so it feels later
than it is; and now I’m ready to crash and nap – so I will.
Ethan – out!

Ehlana:
We should write more about Earth Day, but
while we did celebrate it today; I have to point out that we do more about
caring for our local environment every day than most kids even think about –
especially in cities where daily interaction with nature just isn’t the same as
on farms or in small towns. Our crop
research at the lab is all about more-resilient plants that are also environmentally-sustainable,
but I’m referring to how we are every day when it comes to everything from
garbage and recycling to treating our water supplies responsibly.
On a larger scale, our family business
takes all of our ethical responsibilities seriously. That doesn’t always mean we get to have
everything we want – there are a lot of problems in the world; and we have to
deal with them as best we can. That isn’t
an excuse – just a fact that we can’t control every situation; and sometimes
have to settle for doing the best we can in bad situations while helping as
much as we can. Those big problems are
why so many people just get overwhelmed and doubt that they can make a
difference, but we don’t believe that’s true – or striving for Ascension of the
Light would be pointless.
Here’s my advice for the occasion that
nobody will read anytime soon anyway – Do all that you can to help regardless
of how small that contribution. Good
deeds can be contagious; and then anything is possible! That doesn’t happen overnight, but if you
look at it the right way; the adventures along the way to a better destination
can be amazing – but you can’t get to anyplace better if you don’t actually
start from somewhere! ;^)
Okay, that’s enough for tonight; and I’m
ready to get some sleep now too.
This is Ehlana Proctor; coming to you live
from what is now my past!
