Ethan:
The rain did eventually get here tonight,
but later than forecast by quite a bit; and we ended up having a very nice day
around here. That helped out at school
because we spent more time playing outdoors, but other than biking to the lab
and having a visit along the way with Naomi; we did not take another day off
from our play-work because we will have the extra time off over the weekend –
and might not be able to work there tomorrow either; since pretty much everyone
will be busy with incoming family for the holiday.
We’ve had a good day; stayed late at the
lab again – along with Mom for some of the time; our dinner back at home was
quick and easy – including the clean-up; and then we went with bath or Jacuzzi
breaks after a short Magi lesson because Mom and Ehlana wanted the tub time
that might not be an option for them this weekend. That’s all I have for today, but I’m going to
do a bit of reading before getting around to the nap part of my night because I’m
not quite as tired as I have been most nights this week; so I’ll wrap this up
and put myself to sleep with a few thousand pages of light archives
entertainment. ;^)

Ehlana:
I’ve been there and do that kind of bedtime
reading that most Magi – or anyone – would find boring-enough to induce sleep,
but that doesn’t actually put us to sleep too; since we find a lot of what we
read in the archives fascinating.
There really isn’t any exciting news to
write about from home – or for Dad in the city or Cassie and Michael at
school. They’re all very busy, and
Cassie is writing two more equivalency exams tonight and tomorrow night in
addition to all of the rest of her non-stop work, but while what she’s doing is
amazing and important; she doesn’t think of it as a big deal when her ‘official’
education is all for show and she’s mastered all of what she’s ‘learning’ now years
ago.
Now that would be a news story if anyone
outside of our Magi community knew about it, but they don’t – and won’t read
about it in our journals either.
Okay, I really don’t want to go on about
anything tonight, since Ethan and I are apparently in different places tonight
when it comes to being tired; so I’m going to wrap this up and get some sleep. We won’t get to see Cassie tomorrow night,
since she’ll be home very late after staying with Tim for that second exam
while he’s in his mechanic’s class, but the long weekend is almost here; and we’re
really looking forward to a few days of family and friends fun!
