Ehlana and Ethan:
Our top family news of the day is that we
only have the Proctor clan home this weekend while everyone else opted to stay
home or do something else due to the wet weather forecast for the next three
days. Uncle Blaine, Aunt Alison, and
their kids are with Uncle Mark and Aunt Grace; and his parents are with Grandma
and Grandpa. They got to town this
afternoon, so we had some play time with them – with social distancing; and
Jaimie, Kaitlyn, and Jayden helped out at the cemetery too while we were there
this afternoon.
That was a highlight for our day, but we
also had fun last night with our camping; we had our tent packed up before the
rain hit this morning; and we studied indoors while it rained – and it cleared
up in time for our work at the cemetery and around town – though it was still
damp work for putting out flags; planting flowers; and cleaning up. We were able to do a socially-distanced
barbeque dinner in the back yards for the Carringtons and Everetts; biking,
canoeing, and spread-out visiting kept us entertained after that; and now we’re
all in our homes for the night. That
includes Naomi and Aiden; since they’ve been away from home for the past three
nights, but we’ll be hanging out with them again tomorrow – whether our
entertainment needs to be indoors or out.
We’ve finished with the tub or Jacuzzi time
that we really needed after our camping adventures; and now it’s time to get
some sleep so that we’ll be ready for whatever our holiday weekend adventures
end up being depending on the timing for the expected rain. We’ll let you know how that goes, but that’s
all we have for tonight; so we’ll wrap this up and move on to nap time – even though
this will be our earliest night for bedtime
this week.
This is Ehlana and Ethan Proctor; live from
the hidden home of the Magi of the Light – and May the Magi Force be with you!
