Ehlana and Ethan:
Happy 36th Birthday, Uncle Mark!
Our first steps at returning to normal life
didn’t change anything for Uncle Mark’s birthday; so we didn’t have much
involvement in his special day beyond gifts and video chats. He is getting a kid-free night, but we won’t
comment on that at all; and don’t want to hear any details about that anytime
soon – or ever! ;^)
We’ve also had a rainy and sometimes-stormy
day; so there isn’t much news to write about tonight either. Our sleepover last night was great – from the
pizzeria dinner through to the co-ed sofa sleepovers, but the only news from
that would be the music practice we added in for our play time; since the
movies and cuddle time can’t really be considered newsworthy when that has been
a favorite part of our evenings all week.
As for today, Tai Chi by the river was an option ahead of the rain, but
we got a bit damp going over to Naomi’s house for our online lessons and
studies; and biking wasn’t an option; so we headed for the lab this afternoon –
and got a ride there after lunch. Naomi
and Aiden didn’t go along with us today; and they’ve been doing their own
things with their families since lunchtime.
The lab or archives time was fun, but we
don’t have any news to offer from that play-work time; and we’re having a quiet
evening here at home while our collegians deal with their last study night for
their exams tomorrow. While they’ve been
busy, we’ve had another music practice; took a break for Jacuzzi or bath time;
and we’ve been watching music videos and chatting while surfing the net and
doing other things – like writing this update.
The rain has tapered off tonight, but we could get another thunderstorm
or two overnight; and there is more rain in the forecast – along with
continuing warmer weather.
Having Cassie, Michael, and May finishing
their exams tomorrow is likely the top news of the day; and we’re hoping to
spend more time with them this weekend.
We’ll let you know how that goes for us, but we do still need to get
through tomorrow first; and they might be more-interested in celebrating the
end of exams with entertainment that isn’t kid-inclusive – at least for
tomorrow night. We’re not quite ready to
head for our beds yet, but that’s all we have; so we’ll wrap this up and move
on to more music, surfing, and twin-chat time until we are ready to crash and
nap.
