Ehlana, Ethan, Naomi, and Aiden:
Happy 30th Anniversary, Jacob
and Miranda!
They had the day off from the Inn today,
but since their kids were either working or busy with final exams; their celebration
was not a big event – and we won’t be writing about anything they might be
doing with a college-kids-free night!
We’ve moved our sleepover adventures to
Naomi’s house tonight; and this update is coming ahead of our
movies-and-cuddles plans for the rest of the evening – and possibly another
co-ed sofa sleepover. The rest of that
story will have to wait for the next report; so let’s cover the news of the
day; and then we’ll move on to enjoying the rest of our evening.
Our day began with a chilly Tai Chi workout
for four by the river; we had breakfast with Aiden’s Mom and sister; moved on
to Naomi’s house for our studying; and had lunch there too before heading out
to bike and play. It didn’t get very
warm today; so we went with the shorter biking option along with the lab or
archives play time. We were back at
Naomi’s house in time to help out with making dinner; that meal was more-fun
because Eli’s with Zack tonight; and we just finished going for a walk with
Naomi’s parents. They’re doing their own
thing now instead of watching the movies we’ve picked, but we’ll likely do a
bedtime snack with them later – and parents are occasionally allowed to enjoy
shows or movies that are not kid-rated.
That’s all we have for our day, but we can
add that Tory and Kyle headed home with their new baby today; and they’re looking
forward to sharing all of the happiness with the rest of their families. Our collegians aren’t all finished with their
exams for today, since some of them are still writing them tonight, but either
way; they’ll all be up late getting ready for day three tomorrow.
We’d help them out with that, but they have
to keep a live camera going the entire time; and the exam monitors might notice
if kids were writing those exams instead! ;^)
That’s enough for tonight. Our day hasn’t been filled with extreme
excitement, but we’ve had fun; so we’re happy.
The weather is going to warm up again starting tomorrow too, so while we’re
going to be getting quite a bit of rain this week – if the forecast is correct;
we’re looking forward to that too – especially if that leads to more outdoor
adventures like trips to Quarry Lake.
Our favorite adults are too-busy for that this week, but we’ll need a
fair bit of warm weather before it’ll be comfortable to go into the lakes or
rivers around here; so we’ll likely need to wait for another week or three
anyway. We don’t have to wait for our
first movie of the night, so we’re out of here; and back to the real world
again.
This is Ehlana Proctor – and gang; live
from the hidden home of the Magi of the Light – and May the Magi Force be with
you!
