Ethan and Ehlana:
Happy 11th Anniversary, Jared and Amy Spencer!
This is an early update because we’re going to be busy later with a co-ed sofa sleepover with Naomi and Aiden; and one of us has been advised that playing with our computers later will get me into trouble with my girlfriend! I am going to do as told; so the rest of our news for today can wait for our next update.
We didn’t have any involvement in the anniversary celebration today; and might not want any details either; since some kid-free time is rumored to be involved for two of our favorite members of the Spencer clan. Our day began with Tai Chi by the river and a quick breakfast; Naomi and Aiden joined us for a chores work day that included some breaks thanks to a thunderstorm and some rain. We still managed to get everything done and even managed a play visit with Cassie and Michael while doing chores at Aiden’s house; and now we’re split up while getting cleaned up and ready for dinner. Cassie and Michael are here for that meal and a last review of our plans for Brianna’s birthday adventures that start for some of us first thing in the morning. Ehlana and I haven’t really been involved in that work, but Mom, Cassie, and Michael have all done pre-cooking today for the picnic lunch at Quarry Lake and the barbeque dinner at the Carringtons.
All of that news seems to add up to a work day without much play-fun so far – which is why we are looking forward to a quiet evening with Naomi and Aiden; and not only for the quality co-ed cuddle opportunity! Okay, that is very important, but we’ll manage to have fun with dinner and whatever else we do this evening too. We need to wrap this up and get back to our ‘real’ life now; so that’s all for this report.
