Ethan and Ehlana:
We had a lot of fun with Cassie, Michael, and our friends last night – including with the baseball practices and pizza picnic dinner, but compared to the weekend; there really isn’t any news to offer. Some of our friends might disagree, since Susan Connor was with us last night and semi-paired-up with Jayden, and maybe that is news; so it is just our own insights that don’t have that as a story worth saving for posterity! Sophia and Aaron were with us too, and there were some jokes about it being another date for them, but we don’t really have anything newsworthy to report for them; since they’re happily just getting started on their relationship; and nothing more-serious than holding hands and cuddling is going on with them so far.
We still stayed up too-late last night; got up on-time for Tai Chi with Cassie and Michael for those of us doing that workout with them; breakfast was a mix of fun and work; and then Ehlana, Naomi, Aiden, and I eventually moved on to doing some chores at three homes for the rest of the morning. The grandparents’ lunch at the Inn was a highlight of our day, and since our ‘official’ grandparents only have Jayden and Kaitlyn here; we were all able to have that meal with them – along with Jeremy and Susan. After that meal, we played all afternoon; Mom only had four extra tweens for dinner; and then we were all at the park for co-ed baseball practices time. The tweens in our group were on kid control duty, so we spent most of that time at the playground or in the river; and now we’re back home and getting ready for a quiet evening and possibly an early bedtime. Jayden, Naomi, and Aiden are our only sleepover guests tonight. Jayden was given the choice to invite Susan, but he didn’t want to do that. Our overnight guests are currently taking their turns for Jacuzzi, bath, or shower time – in three bathrooms; so Ehlana and I are getting this update out of the way now. While we’re going to end our day quietly, Cassie and Michael are hosting a teen night for the cousins and some friends; and the rest of our cousins are doing camping or sleepovers elsewhere. We’re happy with our plans; and it is nice that we don’t feel as though we’re going day and night without any breaks at all.
That is pretty much all we have for this report, and we will be back to the fun with Jayden and our best friends; so we’re going to wrap this up and do that now!
