Aiden, Ehlana, Ethan and Naomi:
Our second camping night of the week is in my back yard again, and since I thought that Naomi’s idea last night was so good; we have Ehlana and Ethan actually tied up tonight while I take care of this journal report! Okay, we didn’t actually tie them up, but that was funny last night; and I wanted to surprise my friends for a change and not always be the quiet one in our little group! ;^)
As we’d hoped, we got to start the day with Tai Chi by the river with Cassie and Michael, but we had the added surprise of helping them with their overnight guests – Luke and Warren. We had breakfast with them too; and eventually moved on to some lab or archives play time for Ehlana and Ethan while I went to the bakery for most of the morning and Naomi split her time between home and some time with her Mom at the salon. We met up again for lunch at my house; we played all afternoon – including biking part-way up the trail toward Quarry Lake and lots of swim time in the river; and then we had our usual baseball practices and Tuesday Pizzeria pizza picnic dinner with a small gang of family and friends that included Cassie and Michael for a little while because they really like getting in on the weekly pizza fun! They have been busy working for most of the day, and from what they told us this morning; they’re trying to get extra work done ahead of having us – and Brianna and Faith – with them for the weekend while most of the local Proctor family adults are away for Martin and Kimberly’s wedding. They’re probably working as I’m writing this update, but our post-baseball evening has included a swim in the river; a moonlit canoe ride, and now we’re winding down with a movie – or will be doing that as soon as I’m done with this report.
Doing that while cuddling with Ehlana will be a lot more fun than dragging this out when there really isn’t anything else to comment on – at least for our own adventures today; so that’s all I have and you’ll need to read the next updates whenever you’re doing this in our future to find out whether Naomi and I ever let our best friends resume writing their own journals again! ;^)
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
