Happy 12th Birthday, Jennifer Byrd!
Here special day will still likely be our top story of the day, but most of the party and camping night news will have to wait for our next report because we’re doing this one before heading over to her house for the rest of the day. We do have a top story for this report – Aaron White and Sophia Bassett are on the way to being a new couple; and Cassie is getting teased about being responsible!
While Cassie has cuddled with Sophia many times in the past, it was actually our late-night chat about her cuddle magic that led Aaron to telling us – and Sophia – that he’d be okay with that cuddle magic working on them and that he loved Sophia. She assured Aaron that she loved him too; hugged him; and then they not only held hands while we continued our chat and movie watching; Sophia had a nap while resting her head on a pillow on his lap until they eventually went to their beds sometime in the wee hours of this morning.
We all had fun with that news from waking up through Tai Chi and breakfast and beyond church and Sunday school! As of now, Aaron is approved as Sophia’s date for Jen’s party; their families are having a lot of fun with the news; and one of our personal highlights was Miranda’s reaction; since she really loved both the news and the cuddle magic angle of the story! We’ve had a good morning; we’ve already rounded up what we need for Jen’s party – including our tent and camping gear; we’ve had lunch with Cassie, Michael, and the smaller group still with them until the parents get home again; and now we’re nearly ready to wander down to the Byrd’s home along with Naomi and Aiden.
Our incoming cousins will be getting here over the next few hours too, but we’ll likely only see Jayden today; since he is going to join us at Jen’s party. No, we are not bringing him as a special birthday gift for Jen, but those jokes are inevitable; and we have no doubt that our handsome cousin will continue to be very popular with most of the girls around our age! We’re sure to have more on that part of our cousins’ visit over the next two weeks to go along with all of the fun we have planned, but that’s all for this update, and we do need to get going soon; so we’re out of here!
