Happy 26th Birthday, Alicia Warren!
Happy 2nd Birthday, Andrew Carter!
We obviously couldn’t be around for any birthday parties, but Ethan and Ehlana have been thinking about one of their favorite former babysitters on her special day – especially since she is also going to be their Grade Six teacher. This could be fun for all of us; since Alicia’s mother-in-law is going to be my teacher for Grade Seven. As for Andrew Carter, we did hear that he’s having a party at the ranch today, but we didn’t go anywhere near there on our rides today; and only heard about that from Heather and Jordan.
As for our day, it has been awesome! We went on another long ride and picnic lunch this morning; followed that up with lots of swimming and some games at the campground; and then our final dinner for our riding adventures included a corn roast and multiple meat options ranging from jumbo dogs to chicken or steaks. Another evening ride and then our last campfire were each highlights of the day; and we’re being allowed extra time to wind down now even though we’ll still be up early to pack up and get ready to ride back to the ranch in the morning.
I really appreciate the extra cuddle time with Ethan, but he’s the one getting to do all of the cuddling while I’m writing this for all of us, and I want to participate a bit more while that’s an option; so that’s all for tonight. Stay tuned, and I’m sure that Ethan and Ehlana will have more for you once we’re all home again and back to our ‘normal’ lives!
