Ethan and Ehlana:
Today has been a mix of work and play, with more work for Dad while he got ready for his week in the city; and less for us because our ‘work’ involved getting packed for the riding camp adventures we’ll be doing with Naomi, Aiden, and a small gang of tweens and teens from Monday through Friday. Those camps are a new addition for the ranch; they’re doing them as a joint venture with one of the campgrounds; and we’ll include details as we can while enjoying all of that fun over the next five days.
As for today, we started out with Tai Chi by the river with some of the Carringtons; followed that up with breakfast at Naomi’s with her parents – but not Eli; and then we had fun at church and Sunday school. In addition to the packing chores, we cleaned up our rooms and most of the third floor; went biking and swimming with Naomi and Aiden; and had an Emporium ice cream snack break while out on the bike ride. Dinner was of the buffet style at the Inn – possibly because Mom wanted to make sure we ate a good meal before our week of campfire and trail ride fare; and we’ve been busy since then with a bit of work in the office, a Magi lesson with Mom, and bath or Jacuzzi time that we won’t get to do for the next five nights.
Finally, while we want to get extra sleep tonight while we can; we should mention the rest of the news from last night. The dinner with just our own parents was really good – especially knowing that we won’t see them again until next Friday; the play time was shared with other members of our family and friends at several homes; and then we wrapped up our day with a small campfire that wrapped up at eleven o’clock when our parents were ready to head into their homes while we stayed up later and watched a movie on an iPad and enjoyed some quality co-ed cuddling and chat time. Co-ed sleepovers probably won’t be an option while we’re away at the riding camp; so that was an even-better reason for us to enjoy the opportunities while we could take them! ;^)
Okay, that’s enough for tonight. Our updates while we’re away will likely be different every day because we have no idea when we’ll have free time to do them, but we will be able to do them; so stay tuned for all of those stories while we call it a night and rest up for all of that fun!
Until next time, this little blast from your near or distant past is written for you with love from Ethan and Ehlana Proctor – twin junior Magi Masters of the Light!
