Happy 37th Birthday, Aunt Grace!
Aunt Grace’s special day probably won’t sound very exciting to most people, since it was a work day and our family had baseball practices that got in the way of any partying, but she is getting a kid-free night now; and no details from that part of her celebration are needed or wanted by any of her favorite kids!
A school day filled with testing or exams wasn’t newsworthy for us or any of the other kids or teens around here; so we won’t comment on that either. The two rounds of baseball practices included some multi-tasked studying with our friends while Zack, Eli, and their buddies were busy with their team; we had a bigger gang for the pizzeria pizza picnic that was also Aunt Grace’s birthday dinner; and then Ehlana and Naomi had their ball practice while Aiden and I were busy with ours. Finally, there was more studying back at our house; an evening swim or two when we needed to cool off; and bath or Jacuzzi time was ordered for us after our friends went home for the night. Brianna won the non-contest to get Faith with her for the night; and Caleb went along with Zack too – though he might have preferred to hang out with Sebastian instead. That isn’t because he doesn’t like Zack too – only that he won’t get as much sleep on a school night when Zack will want to play video games for as long as he can get away with doing that. Even Magi kids can be too-tired to do their best on tests, but if Caleb is too-tired in the morning; Uncle Adam might be able to help him out with some fatigue healing.
We’ll keep you posted on that if it becomes a news story, but we need to rest up for the next round of tests too, and don’t really have anything else to write about tonight; so, until next time...
