Ethan and Ehlana:
Faith and her team won their first ballgame-practice yesterday; and she was very happy to have Ehlana, Naomi, and a small squad of cheerleaders there to support her. We were all in on the post-game ice cream trip to the Emporium; and then the rest of our day included biking at the park; swimming in the river; and our co-ed camping adventure with Naomi and Aiden. Some of our friends joined in for the evening play time at the park and the swim breaks, but we didn’t have extra campers with us. Mom mostly did her own thing after dinner too – including some hang out time with Aunt Leanne and Aunt Grace, so other than a few visits and a bedtime snack with her; we took care of ourselves too. Even after an early start to our Monday while seeing Dad off on his trip to the city, we still stayed up too-late; and then our morning wake-up felt too-early this morning.
Tai Chi by the river with extra exercise buddies was fun – especially when the Carringtons joined us and then stayed for breakfast. Video chats with Dad, Cassie, and Michael added bonus entertainment for all of us; and then our school day was another round of mostly-outdoors play time except for some work we did with cleaning up classrooms and getting ready for the summer break. We just got home a while ago, and are again about to head out for another round of baseball and play time with our family and friends – including our own practices. The early update is again because we’re going to have another camping night; and we’re picking the play time again over doing work or studying with Mom tonight. We do need to get going and meet up with Naomi and Aiden again soon, though, and don’t have anything else to add for this report; so, until next time...
