Ehlana and Ethan:
Uncle Nick’s birthday dinner and party was awesome, if still a bit weird due to the ongoing social restrictions that had guests rotating in and out of the house; and the dinner spread out around three rooms. Teachers and nurses need to lead by example, though; so it was not a wild and crazy, all-night party! It was also a school or work night; so we were home early; Mom did a Magi lesson with four of her favorite Magi; and then we had a music jam session before getting around to a bedtime movie and co-ed cuddling that lasted for the rest of the night. The sofa sleepover fun was definitely one of the highlights of our day; so we were very happy campers when we woke up this morning.
Tai Chi by the river was chilly, so we followed that up with a hot breakfast; and then we had most of our usual group of cousins and their best friends here for our home-school day. Having everyone here slows us down a bit – even though we’re in the lounge for our online lessons and assignments and our cousins are in the office or sunroom, but that didn’t really matter today; since our afternoon play time was at the lab or archives while Naomi and Aiden were busy with their own families for the rest of the day.
That’s why our evening here at home has been quiet. We had a late dinner; studied and worked in the office; had a music practice; and have just finished up with bath or Jacuzzi time. It has been a long day, so we’re going to keep our twin bedtime chat and this update short; since we want to be fully-charged for our last school day of the week and what we’re sure is going to be an awesome weekend! Stay tuned; since our fun level is sure to kick up a few notches for our first weekend of October.
