Ehlana and Ethan:
Our play time and co-ed sofa sleepover last
night were great; the chores this morning weren’t as entertaining; and then the
rest of our day to now has been awesome because we took a picnic and headed for
Quarry Lake – along with most of our local family and quite a few friends. Social distancing doesn’t get in the way of
the fun there – though there are limits for the numbers of visitors to the
campground that could be a problem as more people begin traveling and going on
vacations again. The new rules didn’t
slow us down today at all, though; and we were able to do everything we wanted –
including play time on the new aqua-bikes, climbing the rock wall, and rides on
the zip-line.
We’re home now, but only taking a break
ahead of another socially-distanced family barbeque dinner; and we’re having a
socially-distanced camping night too.
That’s why we’re doing the early update – and also why we’re keeping it
short so that we can get back to all of the fun. The rest of the news for today can wait for
the next report, so we’ll just wrap this up; and move on to our next
mini-adventure – setting up the tents ahead of dinnertime.
