Ehlana and Ethan:
This is a very early update, so we don’t
have much news to report, but we’re writing now because our plan is to leave
our electronic toys in our rooms for the rest of the day while we have fun with
our family and friends.
Our camping night was a blast – again, but
while we’re not doing much more than short visits to the lab around our biking
adventures; we continue to mentally work on our projects – which is easy to do
thanks to our memory talents. We’re not
going to get into any major news or commentary this morning because we need to
meet up with Naomi and Aiden again soon; so we’re making this our last ‘chore’
of the morning before getting to that.
Mom did have us do an hour or so of chores this morning; so Naomi and
Aiden did visits with their families and did some chores too – including switching
out dirty laundry for clean clothes for another camping night. The camping has helped us with chores around
the house, since we haven’t spent a lot of time in our rooms, but we still did
all of our work; and now we’re going to take a picnic along with us and
possibly take our biking a bit further than normal. Visits to our favorite caves might be part of
that plan, but we’ll let you know how that goes for us with the next report.
Finally, before we wrap this up; Cassie,
Michael, and May are having fun at the townhouses – even with all of Cassie’s
online lectures and studying. They’re
also gaining personal perspective on the different reactions people are having
to the pandemic, and that’s true for some of their friends and neighbors; which
has a lot to do with why the small-town, alternate universe jokes are being
revived along with the renewed, in-person relationships. We can leave those stories to Cassie and
Michael to cover in their journals, though, so that’s all for us; and we’re
going to get back to another summer-hot, kid-rated fun day!
