Ethan:
The highlights of our day included biking
and park play with our friends – and with Cassie, Michael, Madelana, and
Stefan; dinner at Michael’s house; and the wedding planning meeting. Ehlana and I are happy that we’ve been asked
to be a junior bridesmaid and groomsman respectively; and Brianna and Faith
will be thrilled to have the ring bearer and flower girl jobs. Madelana and Stefan were surprised to be
invited to stand up for Cassie and Michael too, but they’re both tentatively
confirmed pending talking it over with their parents; since that will affect
the second-half of their summer.
Cassie and Michael are at his house
overnight; so the rest of us came home after that meeting; and now Ehlana and I
are playing ‘normal’ kids on a school night – which is why I’ll be doing my
studying in bed instead of the office. I
want to get to that now, and don’t have anything else to add; so I’ll do that
and then eventually get some sleep.

Ehlana:
This has been a good day – even without any
play time at the lab, but Ethan’s covered the highlights of the day; and I won’t
bore you with wedding details news. It’s
likely for the best that we don’t write about gourmet dinners at Michael’s
house either; since that would just be cruel to do that to anyone reading our
journals in the future – especially if they’re doing that after a ‘normal’
meal. ;^)
I’m going to work in bed for a while too;
so I’ll just wrap this up and get started on that instead.
Stay tuned – there’s sure to be more to
come while Cassie’s home with us – though that won’t include news of what she
might be doing with her sleepover at Michael’s house when they don’t have a
gang of kids and teens in the house with them!
I really shouldn’t have gone there – so I’m
definitely out of here; and moving on to some nice, boring research.
