Ethan:
Our first day of March is starting out as
quietly as February ended – though we’ve had a good family and friends dinner
and a movie night too as part of our adventures today.
We had a good day at school; played after
that until not long before we went over to the Carringtons for the evening; and
the play time with our friends and cousins kept us busy before and after dinner
while the parents were working or having some grown-up chat time while winding
down from a busy work week. The movie was,
as always, kid-friendly, but there are quite a few new movies out right now;
and Zack won that battle for animated shows – which was why we watched the
latest animated Spider-man movie.
For the record, yes, I suppose that anyone
can ‘wear the mask’ as claimed; but no, everyone cannot stick to walls and
ceilings or shoot webs out of their wrists.
Yes, Zack, we probably could help you out with the first part of that;
and no, Ehlana will not be looking to invent the spider-web thing in the lab
instead of working on ‘boring’ things like trying to find a cure for cancer.
I will predict that there will be more kids
wearing Spider-man costumes this Halloween though – unless something even
more-awesome comes out between now and then.
Moving along, we don’t have sleepover
guests tonight; and aren’t elsewhere and giving our parents a kid-free
night. Tomorrow is going to be a chores
day – and that will likely include a bit of work to start getting ready for
having Cassie and Michael home for their spring break. We have time for that, but Dad will be in the
city for our week off from school; so we don’t actually have as much time for
the work as it might seem with weeks still to go – especially when Ehlana and I
will likely try to spend extra time in the lab and archives while we’re able to
do that instead of being in classes.
Chores don’t sound very exciting, but I’m sure we’ll have some fun mixed
in too; and we’re okay with spending time with Mom and Dad now and then without
a gang around. I’ve been doing some
archives reading since getting into bed, but I’m also pretty much ready to nap
now; so I’m going to wrap this up and do that.
Ethan – out!

Ehlana:
We like hosting dinner and a movie nights,
but it’s nice to have that at our aunts and uncles’ homes now and then too –
and less work for Ethan and me; since our lounge doesn’t get trashed by Zack
and the other boys; and they don’t also eat every snack we have in the place or
chug all of the drinks. They’re still
scary no matter where we are, and while I can enjoy movies like the one we
watched tonight; I’m really, really glad that Zack, Caleb, and Sebastian weren’t
trying to climb our walls while driving the parents up the wall! ;^)
I don’t really have any news for
today. The after school play time was
outdoors and snow-related, but I’m getting tired of the cold; and would have
been happier in my nice warm lab. We had
fun at Uncle Adam and Aunt Leanne’s, but thanks to Zack and the other guys; I
was pretty much ready to get home after the movie; and I’ve been happily
catching up on some lab reading since climbing into bed with Silkie. It’s not that late, but we do have that
chores day booked; so I’d better get started on the sleeping part of my night
too.
The last bit of news that I’ll add is that
Cassie still ad her stalker annoying her today without actually trying to even
talk to her, but she was also able to go home a bit earlier than normal; and
she’s having a study night to get ahead of her weekend work – and there was a
lot of that as her Professors are trying to get their students ready for
mid-term exams. We may have to do chores
tomorrow, but I’ll take that over an all-weekend study session!
I’ll also take being asleep and cuddled
with Silkie over playing on my computer anymore; so I’m out of here.
This is Ehlana Proctor; coming to you live
from what is now my past!
