Ethan:
March break is here; and we are taking the
weekend off from school and work.
We got the fun started after school with
Olde Bakery snacks and drinks while doing the school report with Mom in the
sunroom – with the ‘we’ including Naomi and Aiden. Biking on the trails and park was up next;
though we needed hats and gloves; and it didn’t feel like spring at all while
we were outside. Dinner and a movie
night included the Carringtons and Everetts; the parents went with a Pizzeria
pizza dinner; and then the lounge was video gaming central while the parents
watched a movie in the living room. Our
sleepover plans with Naomi and Aiden ended up expanding to include our cousins
and Eli. The three sets of parents that
got kid-free nights out of that deal are very happy; but I will not be going
there – and none of their kids want to hear any details about their night off
from parenting.
Aiden and I were kept busy with Zack, Eli,
and Caleb, but we had fun with the gaming; and managed to keep Zack and Eli
from annoying the girls too much while we were at it. Mom and Dad put an end to our gaming in the
lounge when we were sent to bed at eleven o’clock; we helped out with getting
Zack, Eli, and Caleb into their beds; and now Aiden’s already sleeping while I’m
wrapping up my day with this little update.
We have a play day booked with our friends
for tomorrow, so I need to get some sleep too.
That’s all of the news I have for today, but there will be more to come
this weekend – and week; so stay tuned for more of our spring break adventure
stories.
Ethan – out!

Ehlana:
Ethan and Aiden did help out with our
younger cousins, but Zack and Eli were in fine form tonight; pizza dinners are
scary with them in the room; and Naomi and I ended up spending more time with
Brianna and Faith in my room when the gaming got too-annoying for us. Our youngest cousins fell asleep on my bed,
so instead of moving them; Naomi and I decided to camp out in the lounge
instead – though we had to wait for Mom and Dad to send the boys to bed before
we could take over the lounge for the rest of the night.
We’re having a bedtime chat now while I’m
multi-tasking this report and the rest of my bedtime computing, but we’ll be
getting started on the sleeping part of our night soon. All I have to add to this report before
wrapping it up, though, is that we had a good day at school; the biking was fun
even with the cool weather. There is
going to be more biking and fun with our friends tomorrow – after we help Mom
and Dad with the work at breakfast and our morning chores, so we will be
keeping the fun going, but that’s it for this update; so I’ll finish up my chat
with Naomi now; and get on with the napping part of our night soon.
This is Ehlana Proctor; coming to you live
from what is now my past!
