Ethan and Ehlana:
Happy 4th Anniversary, Cody and Caylee Carter!
We weren’t involved in that celebration today, and thanks to hitting the wall for our personal energy levels; we also opted for skipping game night at the Inn to stay home and have an early bedtime. Mom is home from the Inn now and helped Miranda to win the senior title tonight, but we’re only still awake because we waited for her and have everything else we had planned to get done tonight finished.
The weather was a local story today because we’ve been getting a lot of rain. That’s why Tai Chi was indoors this morning and why the football players got wet during our practice while the cheer squad stayed dry and had their practice in the gym. We stayed indoors for all of our academic adventures and breaks; and Ehlana and I hosted the dinner and study session with our four best friends. Mom helped us out with cooking that dinner; the teens took care of the clean-up while she headed over to the Inn; and our studying included a music practice for both our band and school music along with getting the rest of our assignments finished. Our friends headed for their homes by nine o’clock; Ehlana and I took care of some family business and charity work; and had bath or Jacuzzi time wrapped up before Mom got home.
We’ve done the update with her; finished our computer checks; and now we’re ready to crash and nap because we can and really need to re-charge tonight. We want to be at full power for our last school day of the week and the football game; so let’s also keep the world news update short and save the ranting or commentary for another night. The latest distraction hitting the media today is President Trump’s declaration that Antifa is a terrorist group. We don’t expect to see anything major happen anytime soon because of that decision on the law enforcement side of the story, but it could lead to trouble like new protests or other activist actions. There are already enough problems in the world; so maybe our leaders should focus on fixing things and ending wars instead of creating more conflict of any kind!
I’m feeling the urge to rant; so that’s all for tonight. Sleep is the priority for both of us; so we’re going to move on to nap time starting right now.
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
