Ehlana and Ethan:
Cassie is already celebrating her birthday thanks to it being Thursday local time in Cairns, but we’ll save up the official best birthday wishes for our next report – and she’s going to be continuing the celebration through the weekend anyway! For their Thursday and Friday they are diving the Great Barrier Reef, so we’ll expect some big fish stories. They have some rain in the forecast both days along with the triple-digit highs, but that won’t be an issue while playing underwater; and they will hopefully have the best weather whenever they are on the dive boat. Think of that ‘boat’ as a mini cruise ship, since they have guest cabins and other amenities; and Cassie, Michael, and the other guests will spend the night onboard – though they might be doing a night dive too. We’ll keep you posted once we get some of the details.
Here at home, we were happy-enough to have a high near-sixty this afternoon. It was cold this morning, so Tai Chi was indoors, but we had some extra outdoor time at school; and opted to go biking with our friends after school. This time, we headed out toward Quarry Lake once we had the gang together, but weren’t motivated enough to ride all the way to the campground and back so we rode as far as we could before needing to turn back with time to get home ahead of dinner. Ethan and I kept our best friends with us; we all helped out with making dinner; and enjoyed that meal with Mom and Dad before cleaning up and then getting to our last band practice ahead of the dance on Friday night. We had fun with that; Mom did a group Magi lesson with us; and then our friends headed for their homes. Ethan and I took Silkie along and walked Naomi and Aiden to their homes; Mom sent us up to the third floor after we got home and wouldn’t let us work in the office; so we moved on to bath or Jacuzzi time and now we’re pretty much ready to call it a night and get some sleep.
As usual, I’m tempted to offer world news commentary, but I’ll resist tonight; give Ethan a break; and get started on our nap time now.
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
