Ehlana and Ethan:
We’ve had a fairly-quiet, non-news day. Tai Chi was chilly, but still by the river this morning; a hot breakfast helped to get us warmed up again; and then we had a happy morning at church and Sunday school. It only warmed into the high-forties and we’ve had a sprinkle or ten of rain; so Ethan and I opted for a play afternoon at the lab or archives. We followed that work-play up with a quiet dinner with Mom and Dad; some office work and a Magi lesson after the clean-up; and a vid-chat with Cassie and Michael that happened during a Monday work break that they were having on their Monday while traveling between a meeting and a site visit in Brisbane. They have nicer weather there, and it is also a bit cooler than it had been in Darwin; so they are enjoying an awesome summer day even with all of the work they have booked for their first day in Brisbane.
Compared to that, our day really hasn’t been newsworthy – though we did get a lot of work done today. Mom still had us wrap up the office fun early; bath or Jacuzzi time followed; and now we’re keeping the computer checks short and can do that partly because Mom already updated us on a lot of her news checks and other information from around the world along with a Hathorne Industries update. They are still doing a lot of bad around the world, but Gwyneth is busy at Princeton; so she’s keeping most of her mayhem local to the college and city. We’ll continue to hope that she’ll leave us along – especially when that comes to Cassie and Michael while they are traveling; and have no information to suggest that she might be planning something imminent for us.
We don’t need to ponder potential dangers tonight from our favorite Dark Magi Master; so let’s wrap this up. Our first full week of school in February isn’t booked solid, but we will be busy as we head toward Valentine’s Day – and we do have the school dance coming up on Friday night. While resting up when we can is probably a good idea; we’re really only going with a comparatively-early bedtime because we’re pretty much ahead of plan for pretty much all of our family business and charity work responsibilities. That’ll be great for when we do want some bonus play time – including once Cassie and Michael get home next week; so we’ll move on now and enjoy the breaks when we can have them!
