Ehlana, Aiden, Naomi, and Ethan:
Happy 13th Birthday, Aaron White!
We never really think about the fact that Aaron is younger than Naomi – just as the rest of us in our little gang are, but we were obviously reminded of that today; and this was also his first birthday where he spent most of the day with us – and without any of the rest of our collective group of friends and classmates. Since that began with our adventures at Cassie and Michael’s house; let’s pick up our story with where we left off with our last update.
Ethan and Naomi made it to Cassie and Michael’s house first; they had fun teasing the rest of us for why Aiden and I, and Sophia and Aaron, weren’t as-quick. There may have been valid points involved in those jokes; so let’s just move along. Once we were all together, we enjoyed sitting around and chatting while making dinner; Cassie chose one of Aaron’s favorites for the entree ahead of his birthday; and there were bakery treats for dessert. After the clean-up, our evening entertainment included a walk on the trails, ‘live’ music play time, some video gaming, and an action movie. There was a lot of chat time – especially during the movie and co-ed cuddle time; and we got to hear a lot of travel stories that included three ‘big fish’ tales that Grandpa will be proud of whenever he gets to hear them!
After getting around to some quality co-ed nap time, we used some Magi-powered healing this morning; Aaron’s parents and sister joined us for breakfast; we helped out with the clean-up; and then we eventually hit the road for Crystal Springs – though that ‘we’ didn’t include Cassie and Michael. Aaron’s parents needed some help with the driving for a total of eight kids including Beth-Ann’s choice for a friend to bring along; and that was actually two extra sets of parents and two more kids that were unofficial birthday adventures additions because of the needed drivers.
We arrived at our favorite mall by late-morning; some minor shopping included Aaron eventually getting to pick out the main gift from his parents – a new bike; and lunch was at the food court before we eventually headed over to SportsFusion for the main entertainment of the day. We had a blast with all of that; dinner was at a surf-and-turf restaurant; and then we headed home. There was a minor birthday dessert visit at Aaron’s house once home again, but only Sophia is staying with him tonight while this update is coming to you live from Aiden’s house. Yes, some of our parents are getting kid-free nights and no, we do not want to comment on that for our parents even while they are appreciating the time together before Dad will be in the city next week.
Ethan, Naomi, and I made stops on the way to Aiden’s to re-pack our overnight bags, and it was going on ten o’clock by the time we got there. We had a visit with his parents, but Hailey is with Leah tonight; and we’ve really just been winding down toward nap time with a movie and more co-ed cuddling since Aiden’s parents moved on and turned in for the night. We’ve had an amazing day, so let’s just wrap this up and keep the happy going as we end our adventures with another co-ed sofa sleepover!
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
