Ehlana and Ethan:
Cassie and Michael are almost home, and while we only had a short vid-chat with them from their hotel room; we’re happy to be counting down in hours now to when we’ll get to see them again tomorrow! That will be sooner for Mom and Dad, since Cassie and Michael now expect to be back by lunchtime and are planning on bringing fast food for everyone in Dad’s office – and Mom will join them for that meal too.
As for our day, it has been cooler, so we didn’t have much outdoor time – including for Tai Chi. Our academic adventures were fun but not newsworthy even for the test that we aced this morning. We had a band practice with our friends after school to get ready for the seniors’ Valentine’s Day luncheon at the church; and Mom did a short group Magi lesson with us too while Naomi, Aiden, Sophia, and Aaron were with us. Mom had Ethan and I help with making dinner after our friends headed for their homes; we had that meal ready by the time Dad got home; and then that quiet dinner was followed by the clean-up before three of us headed over to Cassie and Michael’s house for one last run-through to make sure everything was ready for their return – except for the fresh food that Mom will pick up and deliver there in the morning.
Dad stayed at home while we did that, but we took Silkie along for the walks and adventure. Mandy is at her home and as excited as we are about having Cassie and Michael home again. Once we got home again, we had a visit with Dad in the office; came upstairs for bath or Jacuzzi time; and now we’re winding down fast and ready to catch up on our sleep tonight. That is an option, and there really isn’t anything we need to add to this update; so we’re out of here and will head off to dreamland very soon.
