Ehlana and Ethan:
We’ve had a quiet day that started with Tai Chi and a hot breakfast with Mom and Dad; church and Sunday school kept us busy for a couple of hours with our friends and family; and then Ethan went home with Naomi for lunch and the afternoon while I went with Aiden while Mom and Dad got the afternoon to themselves – and actually worked for quite a bit of that time! We don’t need to comment on what they might have done to be so happy when we met up with them again for the late buffet at the Inn. Aiden and I spent most of the afternoon hanging out with Hailey, and since it warmed up to near-freezing; we went outside for a while; checked in on Cassie and Michael’s house; walked to the park; and hung out with some friends. We also played games at the house; listened to music videos; and eventually headed over to the bakery to help with closing the store before going to the Inn. Ethan and Naomi had fun too, but we didn’t see them this afternoon while they spent some time with Naomi’s family.
Moving along, we were at one of the kids’ tables for dinner while the parents hung out together; the meal was as awesome as always; and then we said goodnight to our favorite people before going home with Mom and Dad. An early night was on our schedule, but we had a quick vid-chat with Cassie and Michael; followed that up with bath or Jacuzzi time; and now we’re wrapping up our day with this update and the usual twin chat and computing. We’re going to be writing tests next week, but that is mostly just to prepare us for the high school exams we’ll start having in Grade Nine; and isn’t a big deal for us. Exams week is going to keep the teens at school busy, though, so we’ll likely have a quieter week – at least at school. Before we call it a night, let’s add that Cassie and Michael will be in Melbourne by sometime on Monday night their time. They’ve been working around Holbrook today and have one work stop along the way to Melbourne too, but then they’ll be working in and around Melbourne for the rest of the week. We’ll keep you posted on the highlights, but that’s it for us for tonight and we really do want to get the extra sleep while we can; so that’s all and we’re out of here.
