Ehlana, Aiden, Naomi, and Ethan:
Happy 2nd Birthday, Karyn Johnson!
This update is coming to you from Aiden’s house because Mom decided to go to Crystal Springs for the night; join Dad for a dinner with the Malloys – without the kids this time; and have fun with whatever else they do that we probably won’t need to find out about with any details that might not be tween-rated!
While Mom headed to the city; we had a good day at school without any major news or even gossip worth writing about tonight – unless you want to include this bonus, mid-week co-ed sofa sleepover that earned some attention from our friends. We headed to the bakery after school and had a visit with Aiden’s parents; got put to work on a little project while there; and then we moved on to Aiden’s home with Hailey in time to cook dinner. Aiden’s father wasn’t far behind us and supervised our cooking; we had everything ready by the time Hannah got home too; and then we had fun with sharing that meal and the chat time that included talking bakery business and potential winter fun plans.
The kids in the house took care of the post-dinner clean-up; we had some music fun for both bands that entertained Aiden’s family until his father headed for bed; and then we’ve had a quiet rest-of-the-evening since then with movies to watch, cuddle time, and more chat fun that Hailey stayed around for until the end of the first movie. We’re winding down toward the co-ed sleepover part of our night now, and might not make it to the end of the second movie.
Ethan and Naomi are having more fun with the cuddling right now too, so I’m not all that interested in dragging this out; so I won’t and will wrap this up instead. Cassie and Michael have a lot going on with their work in and around Sydney, but we can save that news for tomorrow night too; so stay tuned for that; and I’ll get back to enjoying my cuddle time with Aiden starting right now!
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
