Ethan and Ehlana:
Uncle Adam’s birthday dinner at the Inn was a lot of fun; and then we ended up having a crazy rest of the night thanks to getting a gang of cousins and friends staying with us for the night while our aunt and uncle weren’t the only parents that ended up with a kid-free night. Naomi and Aiden also officially helped us out with babysitting for a couple of hours while Mom and Dad went along for some bonus fun at the pub with Uncle Adam, Aunt Leanne, and a bunch of their friends. Zack and Eli pushed the limits while Mom and Dad were gone; had a ready audience and help from some of the other guys; and we dealt with them and managed to keep them from annoying anyone to the point of getting into trouble. I don’t mean that in a parental trouble issue. Zack and Eli would never concede this, but that doesn’t change the fact that if Brianna and Faith – or any of the other girls – really got mad at them; it would end badly for them! That wasn’t an issue last night, though, so let’s just move on.
Video games were played in the lounge until too-late for a school night; there was a movie in Ehlana’s room along with some music fun and other games; the girls had most of the third floor for their sleepover; the guys had the second floor, but didn’t use those rooms for long. Ehlana and Naomi got more sleep that Aiden and I did; and that’s why the guys were all more-tired this morning. Naomi and Aiden and Brianna were the only extra Tai Chi exercise buddies this morning; the easy-breakfast still took a while to get through along with getting ready for school; and it was a long day at school for those of us that were tired. We still had a good day, but by the time we were set free; Ehlana and I were ready for some quiet time – so we went to play at the lab or archives until dinnertime. We had fun with that too; Mom went with an easy-dinner after the bigger meal at the Inn last night; and then she mandated an early bedtime for us with only a short Magi lesson before we were sent upstairs for bath or Jacuzzi time.
That worked for us; we’re ready to crash and nap now; and have the rest of our bedtime computing and twin chat done. We’re done too; so we’re out of here!
