Happy 23rd Birthday, Ryan Cross!
We didn’t have anything to do with either birthday, but did hear about the first at school; and know that Cassie and Michael checked in with their college friend today – along with Rowen and Tim; and they’d left a gift for him too.
As for our news of the day, we had a lot of fun last night with Cassie and Michael – and with the co-ed sofa sleepover. For some reason, our parents don’t believe that we’re sacrificing anything while getting kid-free nights for rotating sets of parents, but that doesn’t keep anyone from the entertainment that goes along with the jokes and commentary. We definitely had fun this morning with Tai Chi and breakfast; and then our school day was fairly-quiet. We’re glad to be at the weekend; and hope to wrap up Cassie and Michael’s break with a lot of fun.
The news on how that goes for us for the rest of the day will have to wait for our next report because we’re writing this update early. Mom and Dad are hosting a family-and-friends’ dinner and play or movie night, and we’re being put to work on that now; so we need to get to that soon. Stay tuned for those details; and we’ll just move on to the chores and then what will hopefully be a lot of fun for the rest of the day and weekend!
