Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - March 12, 2023

Ethan and Ehlana:

Our morning was really busy from shortly-after our Tai Chi workout through church and Sunday school to lunchtime.  Getting a gang of girls fed and ready for the day was a blast of fun for them; and a fair bit of work for the guys in the house that took care of a lot of the cooking and cleaning!  Ehlana and Naomi were okay with that plan; they helped Hannah with all of the younger girls; and we even managed to get to church on time.

We had some missing neighbors and friends due to our spring break, but that was close to an even trade for the visiting guests – including Jaimie and Kaitlyn.  That was why we didn’t have lessons in Sunday school from our current modules.  Instead of doing that, our class worked on a backdrop for Easter, and since the teens working with us included Jaimie, Kaitlyn, and their boyfriends; that was fun too.  Naomi and Aiden had plans with their own families for lunch, so we went home with Mom and Dad for a quiet, easy meal; and then we went to the lab to play for a couple of hours until our best friends were available again.  The weather was chilly again today, and while it wasn’t wet too; we didn’t really want to go out biking or playing at the park.  Instead of doing that, we had a band practice with Naomi and Aiden once we hooked up with them again; and then they headed for their homes again by dinnertime.  Mom put us to work when it was time to make dinner; we enjoyed that meal with Dad; and took care of the clean-up too.  Dad was done his work by then and ready for his week in the city, so we had an hour or so of family time that included a Magi lesson; bath or Jacuzzi time followed; and now we’re winding down toward an early bedtime.

There really isn’t anything to add, and we will need to be up early to see Dad out on his trip to Crystal Springs; so let’s just call it a day and move on to nap time now!

Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
