Ethan and Ehlana:
Happy 43rd Birthday, Hannah Draper – a.k.a. Ehlana’s future mother-in-law! ;^)
After Tai Chi and breakfast at home with Mom, Dad, Cassie, and Michael; we collected Naomi along the way and had a group gift for Hannah while meeting Aiden at their house before school. She did not take a day off from the bakery, but managed to have fun while there – including a Pizzeria pizza lunch and lots of birthday-themed cameo moments with family, friends, and customers! Our school day wasn’t that much fun, but we had a good day; came home; and got ready to head over to Aiden’s house to help out with getting a birthday dinner ready for his Mom. Nathan had family help too, so the work wasn’t tough; we had fun with all of that; and then the special meal was a blast – and quick; since we also kept the party going by heading over to the Inn for game night.
We’d love to report that Hannah and Nathan won the senior title, but they didn’t; and Aunt Leanne did not feel bad about winning instead with some help from Uncle Adam. On the happy side, Ehlana and Aiden did win the junior title; so there was still some gaming glory for the Draper clan! While the play time at the Inn was a highlight of our day, we’re now at home and transitioning to watching a movie and a co-ed sofa sleepover. Naomi and Aiden are here for the night while Aiden’s parents get a kid-free night. Quite a few of our favorite parents are going to the pub with them for a while as we’re writing this update; and we get to have Cassie and Michael with us for the movie and some quality chat time.
It’s time for us to wrap this up and get to the rest of our fun now, so we’re out of here; and will include the rest of the news from tonight with our next report.
