Happy 7th Birthday, Donnie Spencer!
While we didn’t have any involvement in Donnie’s special day, he is friends with Brianna and Faith; so we did hear about the gifts and best wishes they had for him – even though he risked girl germs to accept those gifts – and a pair of hugs! ;^)
Cassie and Michael are into final exams today, and while we have no doubt that they’ll do well – including with their T.A. duties; we’re also glad that our week is going to be stress-free by comparison. Teen and tween gossip kept us entertained at school; reasonably-warm weather led to a bike ride after school before we did our band practice; and then dinner with Mom and Dad was followed by an evening of work-fun at the lab or archives. Mom picked us up from the lab at ten o’clock; we did a bedtime snack and visit with Mom and Dad in the office; and now we’re supposed to be going to bed – which we will do very soon because we do follow orders when our parental units give them to us. Don’t read more into that than there is – we don’t get ordered around very often; and Mom in particular senses what we need whether we’re trying to ignore those needs or not.
We’re happy – as usual; the work at the lab or archives was particularly-good; and the music play time keeps Christmas in our hearts every day too as we get ready for the school Christmas dance and a song we’ll be doing at church on Christmas Eve. An unplugged song for the Seniors’ Christmas party might be happening too; and we’ve signed up for the school Christmas concert; so we will definitely be having fun with our music over the next few weeks! It is time to crash now; so that’s all for this report.
