Happy 1st Birthday, Mariah Palmer!
Let’s begin this update with a report about our youngest Magi Master! Mom is very involved in Mariah’s training, and while we aren’t helping out; we do keep up with her progress. Mariah is developing her abilities at a rate that is somewhere between where we were at her age and what is normal for other Magi kids that are at the strong end of the scale – so about half-way between us and Naomi, for a good example. She obviously has to play at being ‘normal’ in many of the same ways that we did; and she uses the same hand signals and other signs to communicate with her parents, Mom, and others when she can’t talk freely. We will only be making an appearance at her party because of the dance tonight, but we’re sure that she’ll have a happy day; and Mom, Cassie, and Michael have already been spending time with her today and will be there for the party too – with Cassie and Michael partly doing that to help with niece and nephew kid control.
Before we move on, we should also mention that Christina’s pregnancy is progressing; she’s due at the end of April; and Mom is fairly-sure that Mariah’s little brother will be a Magi Master too. Yes, there will be nudges as the prenatal training intensifies, but the more-often we can do that; the better we’ll be prepared for when we can help and when we shouldn’t do anything.
Moving along, this update is early because we’ll be busy for the rest of the day. Our morning and school day has been good; we’re currently getting our gear together for the dance; and we’ll head over to the Palmer’s to wish Mariah a happy birthday and have a quick dinner before going to the school to get set up for the dance. Naomi and Aiden will come home with us, but instead of doing a late report tonight; we’ll just save the dance news for our next report. We do need to get going, though, so that’s all for now; and we’ll leave you with some Christmas music to enjoy while we get back to the real world! ;^)
