Ethan and Ehlana:
Congratulations, Garrett, Jen, and the Warren and Wingborough clans – it’s a boy! Warren Wingborough was born today, he and Jen are healthy and well; and there is a new joke for their families and friends; since Warren arrived as a day-early birthday gift for his father! ;^)
Happy 27th Birthday, Josiah Palmer!
Happy 20th Birthday, Jimmy Sheldon!
We have a lot to cover for today, but let’s back up and include the rest of the news from yesterday afternoon and evening. Mom had us help with cooking and chores until our guests arrived; we were on kid-control from about an hour before dinner until everyone went home; and we had a lot of fun with video gaming in the lounge, the pot-luck dinner, and the evening Christmas movies in the living room. There was one more movie in the lounge once Naomi and Aiden were the last guests in the house; and the co-ed cuddle time and sofa sleepover adventures were the highlight of our Friday!
As for today, we had indoor chores to do this morning; finding out that Jen went into labor was great for us because Cassie and Michael hurried their plans for coming home; and they got here by dinnertime so that they could at least meet Warren within hours of his birth. We weren’t personally involved in the baby time at the clinic today, but it did affect our plans; since we helped out with some family babysitting. That dinner included those extra kids too as well as Cassie and Michael; we helped out with the work on both sides of the break to enjoy the food; and now we’re having a quieter evening while Cassie and Michael have been busy with his family and their friends and even a bit of work at the Pizzeria! Thanks to helping out with the kids this afternoon, we had some outdoor play time at the park; we had an audience for our band practice with Naomi and Aiden; and there was indoor play time with dolls, action figures, and other toys rated for babies and toddlers.
Early bath or Jacuzzi time was an option tonight; we had a bonus round of music fun with just Ehlana and me; and new we’re winding down toward nap time. There is a good chance that we won’t see Cassie and Michael again before we crash and sleep, but they will be here in the morning for breakfast; and we’ll hope to spend some quality time with them tomorrow too – though we may need to share them a lot – especially now that Rebecca is a partner short at the Pizzeria just as we’re closing in on the Christmas break and all of the holiday parties too.
We’ll let you know how that goes for us, but don’t have anything to add to this update; so we’re out of here.
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
