Ethan and Ehlana:
We’re getting rain tonight, but that didn’t arrive until this evening; and only the co-ed baseball practices were affected and cut short due to the weather. Up to that point, we enjoyed another nice spring day. The afternoon high was in the low-sixties again today; so we chose another play day with our friends after school because we expect to be indoors a lot over the next couple of days. We biked and played at the park until dinnertime; had that meal with Mom and Dad; and then we headed to the park to help out with kid control while some of our favorite people played baseball. Mom and Dad were not players tonight – and won’t be playing co-ed ball this year. They – and Uncle Adam and Aunt Leanne – are busy-enough with coaching kid teams, work, and everything else they have on the go, but we do still have parental family and friends that are playing; and there are lots of kids to keep entertained; so we might still end up at the park for a lot of Wednesday nights.
Mom and Dad, by the way, did not come with us to the park – they stayed home to work instead. That’s how they avoided getting wet at all – which we did on the way home tonight, and since we were also fairly dirty by then; bath or Jacuzzi time was first on our to-do list once we were here. It was already getting later by then, so Mom didn’t let us do much work in the office; our Magi lesson was a short one; and then we were sent up to bed by eleven o’clock. Now we are quickly winding down toward nap time; and don’t have anything else to add; so let’s just wrap this up and head for our beds.
Until next time, this little blast from your near or distant past is written for you with love from Ethan and Ehlana Proctor – twin junior Magi Masters of the Light!
