Happy 32nd Anniversary, Jacob and Miranda!
Happy 9th Birthday, Beth-Anne White!
We’ve had a very busy day! Tai Chi by the river was a happy, quiet star to our morning; and then we got very busy with packing up our campsite; having breakfast; and getting ready for school. There was still enough time to get a little group gift to Beth-Anne before first classes; and then our academic adventures were really great thanks to another round of outdoor classes and fun. With the camping done for the school week; we also traded play time after school for mowing the lawn ahead of some potential rain and thunderstorms – as well as to get ahead of the work when we plan on having a busy weekend. We won’t get into that news ahead of time; so stay tuned for some hopefully-exciting updates soon! ;^)
Moving along, we got the lawn work done quickly; needed to get cleaned up and ready for the anniversary dinner at the Inn for Jacob and Miranda; we headed to the Inn in time for the half-hour or so of social time before we sat down for the meal; and then we were busy helping out with younger kids during and after the meal; so we missed out on most of the anniversary roasting and traded that for bonus kid-rated entertainment. Our adventures at the Inn continued with game night; that was another blast of fun with our family and friends; and then we came home with Mom and Dad because Jacob and Miranda didn’t want to continue their celebration at the pub even for a couple of hours when they have a busy weekend ahead of them too.
We did some work in the office, but not for very long before Mom decided that we all needed to head for our beds. This update and our bedtime twin chat were all we had left on our to-do list for today, and we’ve covered the highlights of the day; so we’ll wrap up both and crash for the rest of the night.
