Happy Friday the 13th! ;^)
This early update is in-transit toward our favorite collegians. Mom and Dad picked us – and Naomi and Aiden – up from school; and we’re heading there for some of the Bachelor’s Degree graduation ceremonies. We won’t catch all of them because Tim and his Engineering seniors are already at their ceremony that will be starting soon; so we obviously won’t be there in time for it. Michael, Rowen, and the non-engineering friends in their year will all be graduating tomorrow; and they decided to attend because some of their friends will not be returning for post-grad studies in August.
We don’t really have much news for today so far. It has been hot again; there have been some thunderstorms in the area and more that we might deal with on this trip; and we still had some bonus outdoor fun at school because those rain breaks were short with only one bigger blast of hard rain that blasted through town and was gone quickly too. Stay tuned for the rest of our news for today with the next report or two, but we are getting our weekend homework out of the way while stuck in the van anyway; so let’s wrap this up so we can do that. Finally, while we can offer the details for the rest of the travelers this weekend; we can mention that Tim’s parents left this morning so that they could be there for his graduation ceremony; Jacob and Miranda will be coming later tonight – after the dinner rush at the Inn; and Rowen’s parents will either come after closing the store tonight or early tomorrow morning.
The rest of the news really can wait for tomorrow – or Sunday; so we’re out of here and moving on to the homework assignments.
