Naomi, Ethan, Ehlana, and Aiden:
I’m taking over this journal for the night because Ethan is too-busy cuddling me to play on his computer! :^)
Tai Chi by the river with five of my favorite people is always awesome, and with another awesome weather start to the day; that is even better. Having a happy start to the school day seemed to make everything better – from breakfast through to now. The continuing sunny and hot weather led to another round of academic adventures with a lot of outdoor time; since students aren’t the only people in the school interested in enjoying the hot and sunny fun opportunities. Ethan doesn’t mention news that girls do pay attention to very often; and that is definitely true when it comes to commenting on clothes for girls or guys. That isn’t to suggest that he – and Aiden – don’t appreciate when girls choose summer-weather clothes; only that the guys our age don’t even really talk about that sort of thing. The girls do, though; so let’s go there!
Ehlana and I are definitely happy to be part of the group of girls that have switched to shorts and tees as the weather has turned hot. We also like wearing summer-weight dresses a lot too, but generally aren’t into doing that at school when that also means needing to cut back on our play options while dressed up. Ehlana is too-modest, but I’m okay with admitting that we’re two of the hottest girls in our classes; and our Moms manage to help us out with clothing choices that allow us to have a decent reputation with the other girls for fashion sense. We love to join in on talking fasion with our girlfriends too, and won’t scare the boys in the tent with even a written recap; since that also includes commentary on guy fashion – or lack of it. No, Ethan and Aiden do not usually end up on the ‘bad’ list for fashion; and they generally get rated at the top of most hotness lists among the girls our age.
Now that they’re blushing; let’s move on!
Tuesday is going to be our main baseball practice night, so we had time to head home after school and get ready for playing ball; we got to the park in time for the first round of practices in support of Caleb and Sebastian; and we did just a bit of biking too before needing to get in on the Pizzeria pizza picnic dinner that was early for those of us playing ball at five-thirty and later for anyone eating while we were at our practice. With a high temperature near one-hundred, that was a hot blast of fun; we followed that up with a family-and-friends’ ice cream break at the Proctors; and then we’ve had a quiet evening that included a Magi lesson; shower or Jacuzzi time; and another round of riverside chat time before we moved into the tent for the night.
Now we’re pretty much ready to wind down and get some sleep, and that’s pretty much all we have for this update; so I’m out of here and back to helping Ethan out with the quality cuddle time before we do get around to the co-ed napping part of our night! ;^)
Until next time, this little blast from your near or distant past is written for you with love from Naomi Proctor(to-be) and gang – twin junior Magi Masters of the Light!
