Ethan:
Dinner, the cooking and baking, and the
movie last night with our family and friends were all great. Dad got home in time for the last half of the
movie; and then we had to wait until a bit after eleven before Cassie, Michael,
and May got here. That first visit with
them ended up being too-short – especially when we spent a lot of that time
just getting Cassie’s car unloaded. We
did the bedtime visit at Michael’s house along with his parents; and then we
brought May home with us. She was tired
by then and headed for bed, but Ehlana, Naomi, and I stayed up for a bonus
Christmas movie before heading for our beds because we promised to be good
before Mom and Dad went to bed too. A
sofa sleepover with Naomi would have been warmer and more fun, but we were all
ready to sleep by then; and needed the rest ahead of our chores and cooking
plans for Saturday.
We only had May with us for Tai Chi this
morning, but Cassie and Michael came over in time for breakfast; and then we
all got to work. I won’t go over
everything, but chores, baking, and cooking were a big part of our day. We had an afternoon play break that included
a bike ride with Cassie, Michael, and May; and then we’ve had a quiet evening
here at home without extra sleepover guests.
We watched two Christmas chick flicks in the lounge; and now we’re
heading for bed now that Cassie and Michael have gone back to his house for the
night. The rest of our news for the day
involves a lot of girl chat time; so I’ll leave that to Ehlana to write
about. I’m tired, so that’s all for me;
and I’m moving on to nap time.
Ethan – out!

Ehlana:
I could write about all of the girl chat
stories that Naomi and I heard today, but we’re too-young for half of them; and
the rest are better told through first-hand reports in other journals. There ought to be more to actually write
about tonight, but while we’ve had a good day; the work wasn’t all that
exciting as we’ve been getting ready for the holiday weekend. We aren’t even going to have a major family
event next week for the Proctors, but we’re helping the rest of our family; and
will still have a busy holiday – even if we won’t have a house full of guests.
Cassie, Michael, and May are doing great;
school is better than ever for them; and they haven’t had any trouble at
all. That is not because of the Ninja
Girls’ reputation, but there were some jokes about that today; and more fun to
be had with new home town material related to magic and aliens. We are going to do more fun things with our
favorite collegians, but I loved the movies and chat time tonight a lot too;
and we’ll be happy for whatever time we can get with Cassie and Michael. We will also need to share them with his
family; so I’ll keep you posted on how that works out for all of us.
I’m tired too, so I guess that’s it for me
tonight too; since there really isn’t anything else to add for now. Our holiday adventures will resume tomorrow,
though, so stay tuned for all of the latest fun and excitement from here in our
happy little home town!
This is Ehlana Proctor; coming to you live
from what is now my past!
