Ethan:
We’ve had a good, but uneventful day around
here. Tai Chi was chilly, but by the
river; I helped Dad with cooking breakfast; and the vid-chat with Cassie and
Michael was the entertainment highlight for that meal. They didn’t have much news from the weekend
either – other than that they’re putting in extra study time right now to try
and have less to do while home for their fall break and Thanksgiving. That plan works for us – though they didn’t
let the studying get in the way of hanging out with us during their breaks last
year because they could do that work while we were at school.
Church and Sunday school was fun; we had an
easy-lunch at home after that; and then Ehlana and I went to the lab to play
for a while so that Dad could have peace and quiet around home while trying to
get ready for his week in the city. We’d
planned on staying at the lab all afternoon, but ended up stopping early; going
for a bike ride on the trails with some of our friends; and then going home in
time to help Mom with making dinner. Dad
took a work break when we had everything ready, but wanted to get everything
done as early as possible; which was why we didn’t take the extra time off and
go to dinner at the Inn instead. Ehlana
and I helped with the clean-up too; did some studying in the office while
having a visit with Mom and Dad; and then we all headed upstairs early so that
we could get extra rest now that we won’t get with the early wake-up call in
the morning.
That works for me, and I don’t have any
other news; so I’ll wrap this up and get started on my nap.

Ethan’s done a good job with this report;
there isn’t any news from around the family to add from this weekend either;
and I’m good with putting my toys away for the night and getting some sleep too.
