Ethan:
Take yesterday, rinse, and repeat.
Now I’m going to sleep and get rested up
for all of the fun we’ll have during the rest of the week!
Ethan – out!

Ehlana:
Other than doing a bit more work tonight in
a longer time phase; today really has been a lot like yesterday – for us. Here at home, the set-up at the park has
begun; though the midway rides have only begun to arrive and the assembly hasn’t
started yet. Most of the work is all
about getting ready for that work – and setting up the pavilions that will be
used for the festival exhibits and shows.
On the college front, Cassie has been busy with one of her long days, so
we haven’t talked to her; but know that her exams continue to go well. That isn’t news or a surprise, but does
remind us that even when we’re having work days here at home; Ethan and I have
it pretty easy by comparison.
That’s more-true through a global
perspective, but while I could pick any day to go on a rant about all of the
bad things going on in the world, I won’t do that tonight, since I’m tired; and
don’t want to write anything that I might regret later – or not! There are current events archives being added
if you’re really interested in the contemporary news that drives us crazy while
reading our journals sometime in the near or distant future; so it’s likely for
the best that we don’t offer our opinions or commentary very often in our daily
journal updates. We do still keep
informed – which is easy enough thanks to our speed-reading talents, so it is a
good thing that we’re so happy here at home with our family and friends; since
we need a lot of that to off-set all of the bad that we know about that goes
far-beyond what most people could ever keep up with while only catching the
nightly news or skimming the headlines of a national or local newspaper.
For the kids reading this – yes we do still
have printed newspapers – they’re those stacks of papers you see in the grocery
store or at the Emporium next to the candy and chocolate bars! ;^)
Okay, that joke might work better for kids
in cities with parents that get all of their news online now, but I’m a fan of
paperless newspapers; since I love trees and would like to see them growing
instead of cut up and printed on when that really isn’t necessary anymore – at least
in our country.
Well, I’ve managed a micro-rant anyway, and
seem to be in the mood for that sort of thing; so I’ll stop before I can get
wound up; call it a night; and get some sleep too.
The rest of the week and weekend are going to
be awesome; so I want to be ready and at full-power so that I can enjoy every
minute of the adventure.
This is Ehlana Proctor; coming to you live
from what is now my past!
