Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - October 13, 2019

Ethan:

I’ve passed my fun limit for the weekend!

The movies and cuddle time last night ended in a sofa sleepover for Naomi and me because we’re so adorable – or because Mom and Dad were too-tired to move sleeping kids.  The festival church service was teen-led and fun; we had lunch at the park with Mom and Dad; and then we were set free to play for the afternoon while they went home to work in the office and around the house.  That last blast of rides and games was great too, but we were ready to come home as the festival wound down and the clean-up and tear-down work began for the charity booths and exhibits.

This update is early because we’re getting ready for the early buffet at the Inn – a last visit with our grandparents before they head to Arizona tomorrow morning.  We’ll do that; study and work in the office for a while after we get home; and then go to bed early because we’re tired and need the extra rest.  That’s my news update for today; we’ve had an awesome weekend; and I’m ready to get back to normal life again tomorrow – or will be once I’ve gotten that rest.

Ethan – out!

Ehlana:

Ethan skipped over the teasing he and Naomi got over that sofa sleepover; we had Naomi’s and Aiden’s families with us for that lunch; and some of the afternoon play time was with their parents and siblings; along with cameo moments with other family members and friends.  We had a fun vid-chat with Cassie and Michael this morning, and while they had some play time this weekend to go along with the studying; they’ve also been taking it easy and resting up after their mid-terms.  I’m glad of that, since I might be annoyed if they had a too-busy weekend.  If they’d wanted busy; they could have come home! ;^)

I don’t really have anything else to add, and we are getting ready for that buffet dinner; so I’ll wrap this up and move on to the rest of our day.

This is Ehlana Proctor; coming to you live from what is now my past!
