Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - October 18, 2019

Ethan:

We’ve had an awesome day, but the next phase of fall clean-up is ahead tomorrow; we could have a very damp day for that work; and I’m going to keep this short again so that I can get some sleep and be ready for whatever Mom, Dad, and Mother Nature throw at us! ;^)

Our school day was uneventful; we played and biked at the park with our friends once we were set free for the weekend; and then our family and friends dinner and a movie night was the entertainment highlight of the day.  The movie ended up being Halloween episodes of favorite Disney shows that Brianna and Faith got to pick out, but that worked out for us; since we were able to keep watching those shows until the parents ran out of steam about an hour after Dad got home from Crystal Springs.  Halloween was a big part of the conversations tonight too, and while we still have nearly two weeks to go; it is definitely time to get busy with making costumes and decorating for the holiday – which we will be doing tomorrow too at our house.

That’s all I have for tonight, but we have a very busy weekend ahead; so stay tuned for all of the latest news and highlights as our Halloween-themed adventures continue.

Ethan – out!

Ehlana:

There really isn’t much to write about tonight, but I’ll add that we’re not having sleepovers with Naomi and Aiden because we’re all drafted to help out at our own homes tomorrow; and now we also need to save up sleepover points for when Mom and Dad are on vacation in two weeks.  That doesn’t mean no sleepovers between now and then, but we probably won’t have any this weekend; and maybe only one next weekend while the parents are busy with the Halloween party at Sheldon’s Pub.

We’re glad to have Dad home again tonight – though we haven’t spent much time with him yet.  Spending the day doing chores with him tomorrow won’t be non-stop fun, but we will at least get to spend the entire day with him – and Mom; so we’re looking forward to that.  There isn’t any news to report from Cassie and Michael tonight, but they are well, happy, and keeping very busy with their classes and studies.  They are extra-busy this weekend, but I’ll have more on that with the next couple of updates.

That’s it for me tonight, and Ethan’s right about our need to rest up ahead of the chores day; so I’m going to wrap this up and get to sleep now.

This is Ehlana Proctor; coming to you live from what is now my past!
