Ehlana and Ethan:
We have enjoyed another awesome weather day, and that included biking and outdoor fun with our friends after school because there is going to be rain tomorrow followed by a cool-down back toward winter into the weekend. Our academic adventures were not newsworthy. The biking and park play was the entertainment highlight of our day and included a stop for Pizzeria pizza slices; and then we eventually had dinner at home with Mom and Dad. Mom cooked, so we cleaned up; and then we headed for the lab or archives for the evening. We worked with some time phasing help to get more done; kept busy with our beakers or books until a bit after ten o’clock; and then we came home again. Mom did a Magi lesson with us; we had a daily wrap-up visit with Mom and Dad; and now we’re winding down toward nap time with the usual twin chat and computer checks.
It is exhausting to watch the daily insanity going on around the world thanks to the idiots we collectively have as our leaders. Today, the top stories included the piracy of a Russian oil tanker by our coast guard and navy in the North Atlantic. It is stupid to attack a comparatively-weaker country like Venezuela, but escalating like this against a nuclear power like Russia is truly insane. Yes, we know that western countries have been doing worse to Russia, China, and others for years with what they believe is impunity, but it only takes one incident that becomes a step too far for that to change – a fact that has been proven many times throughout history. There is no way to predict whether this latest act of high seas robbery will become a catalyst to something worse; so we can only hope for the best and be ready to help where needed if there are consequences.
If that story isn’t crazy-enough for our future journal readers, there is also another story going around now about a ‘plan’ to put NATO bases in Ukraine with various countries taking responsibility for each of those bases to ‘protect’ Ukraine. News flash to the morons coming up with that idea – NATO in Ukraine threats were a primary cause of Russia’s military operation in Ukraine and non-negotiable for them. Doing this would immediately be a declaration of war on Russia by NATO. This strategy would be a disaster for everyone involved; so we need to add another hope to our list that it won’t happen.
Let’s stop there; since we could go on endlessly about both the conflicts around the world and the ongoing tensions that are escalating about everything from sanctions and tariffs to unrest in countries that are being pushed and funded by western countries that want to rule with the latest colonial exploitation models. It is really time to get some sleep now; so that’s all for tonight.
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
