Happy 42nd Birthday, Liz Seager!
We’ve finished our mid-term exams today; need to get to Naomi’s house soon to help out with the pre-dinner party work; and this is a micro-update because we’re going to be busy for the rest of the day with the birthday party and then our own post-exams celebration and some babysitting while some of our favorite parents are busy with the rest of that birthday party that won’t include the kids!
Let’s just stop there and save up the rest of our stories for the next report; since there really is a lot to do to get ready for that dinner and party!
We can report that Cassie and Michael had a good day in Bangladesh; they are continuing to enjoy the amazing, sunny and warm weather; and everything from the people they are meeting and working with to the amazing scenery and some sightseeing is awesome and exciting! They haven’t started their Saturday yet, but we expect to hear from them around dinnertime for a birthday vid-chat; so we’ll have more from them too with our next update.
For the world news, talk of peace is getting the attention right now between the council of peace that might actually cost one billion dollars per membership that will not actually help the Palestinians to ‘new’ trilateral peace talks with our country, Ukraine, and Russia that are unlikely to lead to an imminent peace we just see another round of distractions that do nothing good for anyone except the rich and powerful. A deal has also, supposedly been made for Greenland, but those dealmakers apparently forgot to make that deal with Denmark or the people of Greenland; so that might be a bit of a problem too.
