Ehlana and Ethan:
This is another early update because we are moving our co-ed teen adventures over to Cassie and Michael’s house for the rest of the day. Our friends did move on this morning for other plans with their own families while Ethan and I were busy with chores around here, but our four best friends will be meeting up with us again soon and we are looking forward to the time with Cassie and Michael. The chores weren’t newsworthy and we’re about to have lunch with Mom and Dad before we head out; so let’s cover the news from last night and then we’ll wrap this up.
When our friends met up with us here, we decided to go for a bike ride on the trails, and while it was cooler; we still had fun. Dinner was awesome with a mix of Pizzeria pizza and finger food sides; and then our evening included video gaming and movies. Only our four best friends stayed overnight; so the rest of our friends headed out between eleven o’clock and midnight; and we ended out Friday with one last movie and the co-ed cuddle time before we got around to having our naps. Tai Chi was frosty and outdoors; we had a hot breakfast; and then our friends headed out and we’ve already covered the non-news chores between then and now.
We’ve decided to stay happy for the rest of the weekend, so we are not going to cover any world news today. There is one, smaller story that we do want to mention – a fatal shooting by an ICE agent that has been in the news since it happened. We are not going to write about most of what actually happened, but this does appear to be a good example of how our media and leaders work now because the first stories blasted the agent and riled up the masses against ICE because the narrative was that the woman was shot without cause. Body cam footage that is now released proves that she ran one of the agents down with her car before being shot while attempting to escape. There could still be more to this story and likely is, but out point here is that the media is complicit in spreading false narratives and attempting to ruin lives – in this case; an ICE agent who apparently had every right to defend himself.
That’s enough for today and we really do need to meet up with Mom and Dad now for lunch; so that’s all for today.
